Barry Leshner is a physical therapist in Brooklyn. Among the people he has treated over the years is Yip Harburg, the great lyricist who wrote all the “Wizard of Oz” songs (with Harold Arlen). In an earlier part of his life, Barry played upright bass in a jazz trio, and once performed at the White House for Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson.
